Emerging Voices: Artwork by Emma & Emery Tiffner

Twin sisters who show what’s possible when young artists are dedicated, encouraged, and committed to creating.

The 21 Step Gallery of Rumriver Art Center is excited to announce the opening of Double Take, a new exhibition featuring the artwork of twin artists Emma and Emery Tiffner. On Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 2–4 pm, the community is invited to celebrate their work at an opening reception in Anoka, MN.

At just 13 years old, Emma and Emery bring an inspiring blend of imagination, exploration and dedication to their art journeys. Their work reflects a seriousness of ongoing creative growth. Their artwork is spurred on by a supportive network of parents and teachers who have encouraged them in their creative endeavors. That kind of support matters, and this exhibition is a celebration not only of these young artists, but of the community that helps creativity thrive.

Double Take will be on view in the 21 Step Gallery from January 10 through January 31, 2026. Rumriver Art Center will host an opening reception on Saturday, January 10, from 2–4 pm. This event is free to attend and open to the public, and all are welcome to join us in celebrating Emma and Emery’s work.
