The Rumriver Art Center records many of its free virtual classes. These free classes cost the art center at least $150 per class. We feel its important to offer these free creative outlets. The Rumriver Art Center depends on donations to continue these free classes.

  • Juneteenth Rose Project

    Join Wou Browne for a fun project to celebrate Juneteenth. You will create a rose project using acrylic paint. Materials Needed: pencil, eraser, canvas or paper, paintbrush and acrylic paint.

  • Parrot Watercolor Project

    Join Larry Weinberg for a fun class where you will learn to draw a colorful parrot. Material Needed: Drawing Paper, pencil, eraser, and material to add color (watercolor paint, colored pencils, markers, etc.)

  • Tulips Watercolor Project

    MaryLeah Marshall takes you through the process of painting beautiful Tulips using watercolors. Materials Needed: watercolor paper, paintbrush, watercolor paint, pencil, and eraser.

  • Rabbit Drawing Project

    Larry Weinberg takes you step-by-step to create a fun rabbit drawing project. Materials Needed: drawing paper, pencil, eraser, and blending stump.

  • Blarney Castle Project

    MaryLeah Marshall takes you through the process of drawing Blarney Castle located in Ireland. Materials Needed: drawing paper/sketchbook, pencil, eraser and blending tool.

  • Winter Landscape Project

    MaryLeah Marshall takes you step-by-step to paint a winter landscape using watercolors. Materials Needed: watercolor paper, watercolor paint, paintbrush, pencil and eraser.

  • Frida Kahlo Cat Project

    Larry Weinberg takes you through the process of drawing a cat inspired by Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. Materials Needed: drawing paper, pencil, eraser, and materials to add color.

  • Bird in Winter Drawing Project

    MaryLeah Marshall takes you step-by-step to draw a bird in winter. Materials Needed: pencil, eraser, drawing paper and blending tool.

  • Sugarplum Bulldog Project

    Larry Weinberg takes you step-by-step to create a fun Sugarplum Bulldog project. Materials Needed: drawing paper, pencil, eraser, waterproof/permanent marker, watercolor paints or colored pencils.

  • Snowman Watercolor Project

    MaryLeah Marshall takes you step-by-step to create a fun snowman project using watercolors. Materials Needed: Watercolor paint in a palette or tubes, round brush, 140 lb cold press watercolor paper, pencil, and eraser.
