Introducing the Edna Wolfe Scholarship Fund

Edna Wolfe created art from childhood to well into her nineties. She was a founding member of Artists del Norte and served for many years on the boards of Artists del Norte, North Artists Studio Crawl, Artists of Minnesota, and the Anoka County Arts Alliance. In tribute to their dear friend and fellow artist, Artists del Norte has set up the Edna Wolfe Scholarship Fund with a mission to give aspiring artists ages 17 and younger financial aid to take art classes in her memory. Vitality Arts Students Show: June 7, 2019 – July 12, 2019

We are very proud and excited to feature the talents of our Vitality Arts program students here at the Rumriver Art Center Gallery. The Gallery Opening is on Saturday, June 8 from 2pm—5pm. It is amazing to see the transformations of their abilities and what they have accomplished. Please join us in the celebration of their work. There will be a variety of different mediums on display including acrylic painting, drawing, and clay pottery. Light refreshments will be provided.

Thanks to grants from Aroha Philanthropies and Walmart in Andover we were able to offer these classes at a reduced cost.

Rumriver Art Center has a New Website!

Rumriver Art Center just launched its brand new website on Tuesday, May 22. This new website is more bright and vibrant and is more user-friendly. The website can also be easily accessed on a mobile device. The new design should make registering for classes easier and much more convenient. Our goal at Rumriver Art Center is to be an arts resource for the community, and we believe this new website will help us to better achieve this goal. We are always willing to hear from our artists on how we can make improvements to better serve them. Please feel free to provide us with any comments and suggestions on the new website. Call 763-323-8830 or email larry@rumriverart with any feedback. We’d love to hear from you!
