The Jan Johansen Gallery at Rumriver Art Center invites you to experience mask/UNmask, a thought-provoking exhibition by textile artist Nina Robinson. Join us for the opening reception on April 5th from 2–4 PM. Then, on April 12th at 3 PM, Robinson will share her creative journey and demonstrate her unique sewing techniques in an artist talk.
For six years, Robinson, a St. Paul-based artist, has examined neurocomplexity and the way society perceives autism. Through repurposed clothing and the rhythmic motion of her sewing machine, she stitches together narratives of identity, perception, and transformation. This challenges how we see neurodivergence while experiencing textile art.
