The 21 Step Gallery at Rumriver Art Center presents “Inked, Ripped, Glued: The Process of Creating Light Within the Dark”, an intimate and thought-provoking exhibition by artist Angie Renee. Through layers of ink, torn paper, and intuitive assembly, Angie uses art to sift through emotions and reflect on the world’s challenges. In creating art, she transforms light amidst the darkness.
Join us for the opening reception on February 8th and meet the artist at a special talk on February 22nd—all are welcome!
We warmly invite you to experience Inked, Ripped, Glued: The Processing of Creating Light Within the Dark by artist Angie Renee at the 21 Step Gallery. This inspiring exhibition is made possible through the generous sponsorship of MPL ENTERPRISES, a dedicated and passionate supporter of the arts who wishes to remain anonymous.
Thanks to the support of our 21 Step Gallery Sponsor (Feb 8 – March 1), all gallery events are free and open to the community. Their generosity helps nurture creativity in the NW Metro, providing vital funding for studio space, gallery exhibitions, and art education.
Being that we are located in a very old building, there are no elevators or escalators. The only way into the 21 Step Gallery is to climb up 18 stairs. We are currently exploring funding options such as grants and fundraisers to get a chair lift installed for the stairway to make this gallery more accessible for everyone.
