Lucy Sinkkonen: Calling, Renewal, and the Art of Transformation

Anoka, MN – The 21 Step Gallery of Rumriver Art Center will be exhibiting new works by Lucy Sinkkonen, showcasing pieces from two deeply reflective and spiritual collections: Calling and Renewal. These bodies of work explore transformation, resilience, and the natural rhythms of change through texture, form, and intentional simplicity.

On June 7th from 2 pm – 4 pm the gallery will be hosting an opening reception for Sinkkonen’s show. Sinkkonen is offering a workshop from 12 pm -2 pm on Saturday, June 28th, that will teach participants how to paint using a unique, tactile approach that blends acrylics, pastel gesso backgrounds, and hand-piped modeling paste.
