The Medium IS the Message brings the compelling work of Twin Cities artist Erik Jon Olson to Rumriver Art Center’s 21 Step Gallery. Through compelling artwork, Olson turns the harsh reality of plastic waste into a visually striking critique of consumerism. Using quilted plastic remnants as his canvas, Olson layers color, texture, and meaning to challenge how we participate in a culture of disposability. The show invites viewers to reflect on sustainability and the consequences of convenience.
