Looking for a fun idea for your child’s birthday party? Come to the Rumriver Art Center for a new and creative way to have fun for your child and their guests!
The birthday party will be designed around your child’s interest. We make an art project (you can choose a theme and we have loads of awesome projects that will fit your theme or we can design something just for them) that each child gets to bring home. In addition to an art project, birthday parties also include Rumriver Art Center invitations and a Rumriver Art Center birthday poster.
Birthday parties are held at the Rumriver Art Center. The first 90 minutes will be the art project and the remaining 30 minutes are for cake, presents/etc. All you need to provide is cake, refreshments and any other snacks for your party. You are welcome to come in 30 minutes early on the day of the party to set up/decorate anything you’d like. There is a full size fridge/freezer for you to use if needed.
Choose from several party options from our standard watercolor creative painting project with a fun warm up project to acrylic creative painting on canvas or clay.
Watercolor Painting ($175): This is our most popular option and is great for any age.
Polymer Clay Sculpture ($250): Guest make a colorful polymer clay sculpture that must be baked at home.
Acrylic Painting on Canvas ($275): This is for ages 8 and up.
Clay Sculpture/Hand-Built Pottery ($300): Choose from a mug to pinch pot critter. Clay projects are fired in a kiln and ready for pickup two weeks after the party.
Wheel Throwing Pottery ($300): You can have up to 10 participants for this party. Cost includes choosing one piece to be glazed and fired. Clay projects are fired in a kiln and ready for pickup two weeks after the party. All participants in a wheel throwing birthday party must be age 10 and older.

Base price is for 12 participants (except for wheel throwing pottery). For any additional participants there will be a charge of $20/participant. Birthday parties are non-refundable.
