A big thank you and round of applause for Geno Okok and everyone who participated in our latest mural project at the art center. The mural turned out absolutely stunning and is the perfect addition to the other seven murals hanging on the outside of the art center facility. The goal of this mural project was to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion and illuminate the essence and spirit of the art center as a welcoming and inspiring environment for all artists no matter their age, gender, race, ethnicity, economic status or where they are at in their artistic journey.
This engagement is supported by the Arts Midwest GIG Fund, a program of Arts Midwest that is funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, with additional contributions from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
