Dave Woessner’s Bio:
My passion for photography began more than 40 years ago with a class at the University of Minnesota. Since that time, I have been photographing for my own pleasure until recently when I began to show my work at local art fairs.
I specialize in digital images of Minnesota’s nature. When I photograph, I am especially conscious of the natural light around me. I am often asked about my Abstract Collection that showcases photographs of water reflecting the natural environment. These images express the movement inherent in water, combined with nature’s sunlight, color,
seasons and patterns to surprise and delight the viewer. The abstract water effect you see is also what I see through the camera’s lens. To highlight this effect, I use my artistic discretion to saturate some photos with enhanced color. Next time you are surrounded by water, look closely and you will find your own reflections in nature.
