As a teaching artist at Rum River Art Center, I find joy in sharing my love of art with others and watching my students develop their individual expression and style. Inspired by nature, I enjoy the creative process and the beautiful, unexpected qualities of watercolor. I have over 30 years of teaching experience in public and private schools, continuing education, museum education and outreach programs. I grew up in Michigan and graduated with honors from Grand Valley State University with degrees in Art and Art education. My work has been exhibited in statewide regional juried shows, museums, and in local galleries and exhibits in Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia. I live in Andover with my husband and family.
