Rumriver Art Center's First Ever Art-A-Thon Event

Do you have the winter blues? Do you need to get out of the house? Come and create art at the Rumriver Art
Center during our first ever Art-A-Thon! Whether you are an early bird or a night owl, we will be open for you.
It will be 62 hours of non-stop art and creativity. There will be a variety of art activities to participate in throughout the 62 hours,
including wheel throwing pottery, drawing, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, hand-built pottery, polymer
clay, mosaic art, stained glass, weaving and more! Come alone or bring a group. All are welcome! We all need a little
sunshine to help brighten the winter season. Get your spark going with some creativity and support your
community art center.

Everyone who comes to the art center can contribute to our three collaborative community art projects that will be put on display at the art center when finished. The projects will be a stained glass mosaic window, an acrylic painting, and a hand weaving. We will also have a canvas that will be painted continuously for the full 62 hours, having different artists pick up where previous artist left off.
